Numbers,
are always the least humane approach to describe grievance and loss,
but what if I tell you that,
in Hong Kong,
there were almost 500 suicide cases within 6 months,
around 50 people died in the cause of suicide per month,
at least 1-2 people killed themselves per day.
And you call all of these are normal?
To : all who are disrespectful to the deceased brings up the spate of suicide clusters happened in Hong Kong.
Suicide cluster is a destructive downfall that is difficult to stop at once, after an outbreak in society. With a visualized suicide data on the wall, the plastic acetates that represents suicide cases in a monthly bases, are pinned on the wall accordingly with needles, red and green describes the gender respectively.
It is difficult to see how the living one’s show their attitude towards death caused by suicide.
Cruel comments on suiciders are always the cause of more damages to their loved ones and people who feel suicidal as well. The cruelest person is the one who disgrace or tease the people who commit suicide.
By pressing a button, a new ring of halo is added to the projected altar, the more rings it has, the more sound of heaven is generated to mourn the dead.
When a problematic system causes so much disappointments and desperation, we are all murdurers who participated in this spiral of devastation.
Let us show some respect to the deceased.
